“Finally, an Alaska Fishing Lodge on a river that never gets high or muddy. I only saw the people I had breakfast with, all week!”
If you are planning to travel all the way to Alaska, why not go just a little further and get away from the crowd? In today’s world, you must seek true wilderness and you will not find it just out of the city, or over the next hill. This is your chance to visit the real Alaska as it was when our parents and grandparents first came to the Territory of Alaska.
Visit Wildman Lake Lodge, where Alaska sport fishing is STILL a wilderness experience! Wildman Lake Lodge is a remote wilderness Alaska fishing lodge providing all inclusive fishing vacations on the pristine Alaska Peninsula. We fish clear-water wilderness streams and rivers for Salmon, Trout and Arctic Char. Wildman Lake Lodge is Alaska’s premiere wilderness sport fishing lodge.
Before choosing an Alaska fishing lodge, SIMPLY ASK: “How close is your nearest neighbor?” That will tell the story, Wilderness or Not!
Crystal Clear Water Everyday Guaranteed!
We are not located in a village or on a river with ANY other lodges. Wildman Lake Lodge is truly a remote wilderness lodge where you won’t see anyone that you didn’t see at breakfast. AND… You won’t find better fly fishing water than we have right here on our home river, a beautiful spring-fed artesian river gushing right out of the ground, where high and muddy water or crowded fishing conditions simply do not exist! To add even more variety to your sport fishing week, we include fly out fishing days to neighboring rivers in many of our sport fishing packages.
Owned and Operated by Lifetime Alaskans:
Your hosts and life-time Alaskans, Butch & Kathy King, provide top-notch accommodations and outstanding meals in one of the most remote locations for world-class stream fishing in all of Alaska, perhaps in the world. Butch is an experienced Alaskan Bush Pilot and Alaska Master Guide with 46 years experience flying and guiding sportsmen right here on the remote Alaska Peninsula. Selecting this one of a kind location more than 20 years ago, you will find Butch & Kathy at Wildman spring, summer and fall.
“We enjoy showing our guests a very special part of Alaska that remains untouched wilderness, where the fish & wildlife are as prolific as they were when we first came to this frontier.”
The Only Lodge on Alaska’s Ultimate Sport Fishing River:
Imagine, a single wilderness lodge on a gin-clear river, full of salmon, rainbow trout and Arctic char, bubbling right out of the ground and flowing past the back door! Each day, you are accompanied by experienced and licensed guides, alternating between a day of incredible salmon, trout and char fishing on Ocean River and its tributaries via jet boat and all day fly-out fishing excursions to one of several neighboring rivers, targeting the abundant salmon runs on the remote Alaska Peninsula.
Fishing at Wildman Lake Lodge is like a trip back in time, when Alaska sport fishing was a true wilderness experience. This is a rarity in Alaska today! Even on our fly out fishing days, it is rare to encounter other fishermen. Wildman Lake Lodge is located on the Alaska Peninsula…also known as Alaska’s Last Great Fishing Frontier.
