Local River Fishing:
The best sport salmon fishing river on the
Alaska Peninsula is right outside the back door.
Wildman has several jet powered river boats
based right at the lodge, as well as on neighboring
rivers. These boats are used to access
some of Alaska's most remote salmon, char
and trout fishing.

Fly-Out Fishing:
We own and operate our own De Havilland, Cessna and Piper aircraft,
which we utilize for
fly-out
fishing day trips to other remote
rivers, adding even more variety to your
sport fishing week at Wildman Lake Lodge. Most
flights are only 20 to 30 minutes.

Arctic Char,
Dolly Varden, plus... Rainbow Trout and Steelhead.
Starting in the early spring, wild native Rainbow
trout, Steelhead, Arctic Char and Dolly Varden are
readily taken on both flies and lures. Wildman Lake
Lodge is located right on one of the finest sport
fishing rivers in Alaska. Ocean River flows crystal
clear and maintains the same water level year-round, no
matter what the weather. Every day is a fishing day at
Wildman Lake Lodge.

Generous Salmon Limits
Alaska King Salmon . . .
Arriving
in early June, the mighty King
Salmon enter several of our local
rivers. These 30 to 50 pound lunkers will really put a
bend in your toughest rod. At Wildman Lake Lodge,
we enjoy a full eight weeks of great King Salmon
fishing. We fly out to several different rivers
for King Salmon, all within minutes flying time from our
lodge.
Outrageous Fishing
for...
Chrome Bright Silver Salmon . . .
The absolute best Silver salmon fishing in Alaska is
found in our local rivers and begins in mid-August
continuing into the month of October. Silver Salmon
averaging 14 to 20 pounds can be taken on both flies and
lures at Wildman Lake Lodge.
Thousands
of Sockeye . . .
The largest Sockeye salmon run in the
north Pacific arrives in early June, entering our river
home system headed for Wildman Lake. All summer, salmon choke
the local rivers, while rainbow trout and Arctic char gorge themselves on
salmon eggs and nearly doubling their weight.
Plus...Chum and Pinks arrive in many
of our rivers and streams during July and
August. All salmon except Kings: Limit of 5 per day,
plus unlimited catch & release after you have
retained your daily limit.
