Salmon, Char and Birds
Wildman Lake Lodge
on the remote Alaska Peninsula . . .

The week of Aug. 16 to 22, 2009

Wildman Sport Fishing Report-  Mid-August marks the beginning of the Silver Salmon season on the Alaska Peninsula, and the second week of Cast & Blast here at Wildman.   Arctic Char, Rainbow and Dolly fishing has been excellent all this week as well.  Willow Ptarmigan numbers are possibly the highest in nearly a decade and hunting has been excellent, both near the lodge and on our fly out bird hunts.  Our first ALL MEN week this season, and what a great bunch of guys.
