Mid July
Sport Fishing at:
Wildman Lake Lodge
on the remote
Alaska Peninsula . . .
The week
of July 12 to 19, 2009
Wildman Sport Fishing Report- Water
conditions on our fly out rivers continue to be low and clear. Salmon
fishing on most Bering Sea drainages is only fair with more blush King and
Sockeye Salmon in the systems along with bright Chum and chrome Sockeye on the
lower rivers nearer the saltwater. Some BIG char, fresh in from the ocean,
are being caught on the lower river. We didn't fish Rainbow Creek this
week, but several nice rainbow have been caught on our local clear-water river
near the lodge.
