King and Sockeye Salmon, Trout & Char
Wildman Lake Lodge
on the remote Alaska Peninsula . . .

Week of  June 28 to July 5, 2009

Wildman Fishing ReportThis week we filmed an episode of Wild Outdoor Adventures Television, with Cliff Tulpa.  This program will air on cable TV this winter.  We started the week with several excellent king salmon fishing days on our fly outs. The sockeye, char and rainbow fishing near the lodge was outstanding all week.  The walrus were in good numbers at the nearby haul out and everyone got a chance to view bears both on the fly outs and along our local river. The sockeye continue to pour into the lower river.
