Silver Salmon Sensation
Wildman Lake Lodge
on the remote Alaska Peninsula . . .

The week of Sept 14 to 21, 2008

Wildman Sport Fishing Report

Not even beginning to slow down, the Silver Salmon fishing continues well into October on the remote Alaska Peninsula.  Our fly fishermen a whacking hundreds of silvers a day on both top water poppers and brightly colored woolly buggers and egg sucking leaches.  Spin fishermen are doing best on Pixie spoons and Vibrex spinners.  Rainbow trout fishing is really good on Rainbow Creek as well as along the river near the lodge.  It has been a fantastic fishing week at our Ilink Camp as well as further flyout rivers, while Ocean River has been producing excellent silver days this entire month.
