King Salmon, Sockeye, Rainbow & Char
Wildman Lake Lodge
on the remote Alaska Peninsula . . .

The week of July 13 t0 20, 2008

The King Salmon are still running bright and fresh.

Fishing Report:  As the King and Sockeye salmon runs continue on our area, the brighter fish are being caught at our favorite fishing rivers and near the saltwater beaches.  Limit catches of bright salmon are still being taken by our anglers.  As the sockeye begin to find their spawning beds, the char and rainbow are filling the upper river near the lodge.  Bright Chum Salmon fishing is nearing its peak and our anglers are having a ball catching these aggressive fighters on brightly colored fly patterns and small spoons.  The week ended again with a full freezer of bright King and Sockeye.

There's a whopping King Salmon!
